Weber Shandwick’s Toronto office has a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented and financially savvy Client Operations Manager. This role is responsible for working within account teams to provide support to projects and campaigns through the creation and management of scopes, client budgets, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage client budgets and track overall costs in and out of each project.
  • Manage burn reporting, tracking actuals, building and informing financial reporting templates.
  • Provide financial analysis for short and long term using the ability to see the bigger picture of actuals plus forecast vs a project budget
  • Manage Expense tracking and forecasting
  • In collaboration with client experience, manage long term financial forecasting for a group of accounts
  • Manage financial meetings and partnership with stakeholders on transferring of hours.
  • Develop and manage internal and external approvals for scopes of work
  • Process and approve purchase orders, invoices and coordinate vendor payment.

Preferred Experience:

  • 3-5 years in a business and financial management role.
  • Requires client service acumen.
  • Ability to assess risks relating to processes and deliverables.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and writing) required.
  • Must be able to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines. Able to multi-task with a variety of projects and tasks.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Ce que cela signifie : le ou la futur·e directeur·trice doit posséder une expérience approfondie des relations publiques et du domaine des biens de consommation, afin d’accompagner certains de nos plus gros clients, de bâtir de solides relations avec la clientèle et de générer des résultats. Le ou la directeur·trice travaillera avec des équipes interfonctionnelles à l’élaboration et à la supervision du déploiement de stratégies sur tous les types de plateformes médiatiques, y compris le développement de campagnes, la création de contenu et l’évaluation du rendement.

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Assumer la gestion de programmes, de budgets, de calendriers et de plans pour de multiples clients
  • Contribuer à l’élaboration de plans à long terme et de recommandations de programmes pour les clients en établissant des budgets et en créant des présentations
  • Diriger le développement de plans tactiques à partir de stratégies; veiller à ce que les livrables de l’équipe soient conformes aux stratégies
  • Soutenir le client de manière proactive et dépasser ses attentes en lui suggérant des améliorations, en tirant parti des connaissances et de l’expérience propres au secteur d’activité
  • Gérer les ressources et les effectifs de l’équipe afin de mener à bien les mandats
  • Prévoir les situations et offrir des solutions de manière proactive aux principaux membres de l’équipe de direction pour les questions d’exécution propres aux programmes assignés
  • Mettre en place et gérer des calendriers ainsi que des plans d’action hebdomadaires pour veiller à ce que tous les délais des programmes des clients soient respectés
  • Servir de personne-ressource principale pour de nombreuses marques
  • Bâtir et préserver des relations productives avec de multiples parties prenantes des clients, des équipes interorganisations et un éventail varié de collègues de l’agence
  • Représenter clairement la vision de l’agence dans les textes, dans les présentations formelles et dans le cadre de rencontres et d’ateliers informels avec les clients
  • Maintenir la rentabilité des engagements

 Compétences :

  • De 7 à 8 ans d’expérience en relations publiques, idéalement au sein d’une agence

DIRECTOR, CLIENT EXPERIENCE (CX)

The Weber Shandwick team is currently seeking a Director to join our Client Experience (CX) team in Montréal. We’re a passionate and diverse team that protects and promotes some of Canada’s most iconic and beloved brands – and has fun while doing it!

What does this mean? The Director, CX candidate must have in-depth consumer PR experience to help lead some of our biggest accounts, build strong client relationships and drive results. They will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams in the development and executional oversight of strategic earned media and digital initiatives including campaign development, content creation and measurement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own responsibilities for executional leadership of multiple client programs, budgets, timelines and plans
  • Assist in the development of long-term client plans and program recommendations, elaborating budgets and creating presentations
  • Drive development of tactical plans, translating strategies into tactics; ensure team deliverables align with strategies
  • Proactively support and suggest improvements to exceed client expectations by leveraging industry knowledge and experience
  • Manage ongoing team resourcing/staffing to ensure successful delivery of work product
  • Anticipate and proactively offer solutions to senior team leadership for executional issues specific to assigned programs
  • Develop and manage timelines and weekly actions plans to ensure all deadlines on client programs are met
  • Serve as the day-to-day client contact for multiple brands
  • Build and own productive relationships with multiple client stakeholders, interagency teams, and a diverse array of agency colleagues
  • Represent agency points of view clearly in writing, formal presentations, and informal client meetings and workshops
  • Maintain profitability of engagements
  • Motivate the team by adopting a positive, solutions-focused attitude

 Qualifications:

  • 7-8 years of public relations experience, ideally in an agency environment
  • Strong understanding of the overall media and social media landscapes
  • Capacity to think both creatively and strategically
  • Proven track record in client service
