We Are Seeking:
The Weber Shandwick Boston office is currently seeking a Vice President to support several clients in our growing Corporate/Enterprise Practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in brand and reputation building communications, managing executive visibility, media strategy and team leadership. The candidate will have the opportunity to drive a broad range of corporate reputation campaigns across a variety of clients, while leading a team of practitioners and collaborating with Weber Shandwick’s network to develop strategic and creative client work.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop and grow positive relationships with clients, maintaining the company’s reputation in terms of delivery and quality
- Provide strategic counsel to clients where possible, being able to assess problems and define logical and effective solutions for clients
- Lead the delivery of high-profile accounts across multiple markets
- Brief and inform account teams. Communicate expectations/goals to the team on an ongoing basis, helping to keep the team motivated by communicating clear tasks and actions
- Work successfully with partner agencies as part of a client integrated agency team, both internally at WS and externally
- Work effectively with finance colleagues to deliver accurate quotations for all client projects or new business work
- Write well-structured, persuasive content and help train other team colleagues to do the same
- Contribute innovative ideas for the client and new business work, inspiring ideation amongst team members
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years public relations experience, corporate PR background desired
- Agency experience (preferred)
- Experience working on Corporate reputation campaigns across industries
- You are both a creative and a strategic thinker, and a natural team leader
- Needs to have a track record in client service to senior level clients
- Strategic media relations knowledge
- BA or BS in Communications or related degree

Boston Salary range: $119,000 – $155,000

Manager, Client Experience - Healthcare
What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a Manager, Client Experience who is passionate about healthcare and making a difference in the lives of patients living with various diseases and conditions. As a Manager, you will work across several teams, serving as a key client contact and overseeing the success of various client program and day-to-day work.
As a successful Manager, you will be a strong leader with excellent writing and communications skills, an ability to translate client needs into project plans, and the ability to guide the work of junior team members. You will also help develop and implement engagement campaigns for a variety of healthcare clients, including pharmaceutical companies. Ideally, you should have agency/consulting or related experience with a background in healthcare communications, specifically pharmaceutical product communications experience.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage account team implementation of agreed-upon programs, ensuring quality standards are met and desired results are delivered on-budget
- Lead project management, ensuring all activities are moving forward and are within deadlines
- Coordinate among interdisciplinary team of research, creative, digital and media strategists
- Develop a range of external and media materials including press releases, key message documents, pitches, social media content, etc.
- Manage client status reports, including materials trackers, media trackers, and website analytics trackers.
- Manage event and activation logistics in a variety of settings
- Set and meet campaign measurement and evaluation criteria
- Identify training and development needs of junior staff and provide opportunities that enable staff members to reach their full potential
- Assist in financial management for clients, including development of invoices and activity reports
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience working on multi-disciplinary (holistic) healthcare communication initiatives
- Familiarity with data and regulatory milestone communications needs
- Fluency and/or familiarity with earned, digital and social media
- Strong understanding of the relationship between traditional public relations and the use of current online/digital technology and social media
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills
- Experience with clients and accounts that are measurement and evaluation driven
- Strong presentation skills, poise, and professionalism
- Industry experience in healthcare communications and/or pharmaceuticals
Basic Qualifications
- 4-5 years’ experience in public relations at an agency or corporate in-house (healthcare experience required)
- The ability to manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously.
- Be a self-starter who works well within a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
- BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, or in a related field

This role offers the opportunity to work in a closely knit, dynamic team supported by a global network, delivering world-class solutions for a genuinely international client list.
You will be responsible for guiding multi-disciplinary teams—including designers, developers, strategists, and client services—through the full product development lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a senior, client-facing role that requires both strategic oversight and hands-on delivery management.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership – Own the delivery of digital build projects from inception through launch, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Process Management – Define, implement, and adapt Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid workflows to fit the needs of each project; establish and enforce best practices, templates, and documentation standards.

Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 5+ years in project management, with substantial experience delivering web, mobile, and digital platform builds.
- Methodologies: Proven ability to manage both Agile and Waterfall projects, blending approaches as needed.
- Technical Understanding: Solid grasp of web and mobile technologies, system architecture considerations, and digital product lifecycle management.
- Budget Management: Expertise in scoping, pricing, and managing large-scale budgets and multi-workstream programs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications
