POSITION PROFILE

We areseeking an Intern Art Director with strong digital design expertise to join our creative team. We are looking for someone with the right combination of conceptual approach, self-motivation, and artistic skills. They need to be obsessive about big ideas and making things look great. Brand consistency, a passion for type and design, and the ability to visually convey their ideas through beautiful comps and presentations must be in their DNA. We are looking for a specific type of person, someone who embodies talent and decency in equal measure.

DAY TO DAY DUTIES:

• Participate in brainstorm sessions for clients like McDonalds, Chevrolet, OREO and more
• Help bringing those ideas to life through client presentation mock-ups
• Contribute to campaign execution through social media posts, mailer design, collateral design and more 
• Quick, yet important tasks like deck design, image searches etc 
• More in-depth design asks, such as infographics 

Essential Skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in art or graphic design communications or equivalent experience
• Strong conceptual design skills
• In-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and a working knowledge of PowerPoint
• Creativity in problem-solving with attention to detail
• Display a hands-on, “yes and…” positive attitude
• Be deadline-driven as well as be proactive to help the greater team at large
• Ability to work in a team and can successfully incorporate art direction and feedback from multiple sources
• Ability to take direction well
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects
• Ability to see a project from inception to completion
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Working knowledge of video editing encouraged but not required
• In-depth knowledge of all social media platforms and the ability to create social content
