Weber Shandwick Baltimore is looking for a Junior Associate for client digital programs and projects. The ideal candidate will provide support to multiple teams across marketing, lead generation, social, and corporate accounts. Must have internship experience and a strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, advertising, program analytics, project management and digital strategy.  The preferred candidate will have superb client communications skills, a successful track record in developing and maintaining solid client relationships, the ability to be a self-starter and work well within a highly collaborative and multi-disciplinary team, and strong writing skills for all types of materials and communications, including earned media campaigns.

Primary responsibilities include the following:

  • Drafting of written media and marketing materials, as well as presentations and client communications
  • Create campaign reporting with the use of data analytics tools (such as Google Analytics)
  • Media outreach and ongoing pitching efforts to generate coverage for client organizations and brands
  • Market research on specified audiences, competition, market landscape, technology opportunities, etc.
  • Project management
  • Maintain and update status reports and call notes
  • Collaboration with different practice areas on integrated campaigns
  • Communication to account teams and clients on project developments, timelines and results
  • Keeping pace with social media / digital industry trends and developments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with internship experience, with a strong interest in client services / account management
  • Strong writing skills for all types of materials and communications
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics; preferably certified in Google Analytics
  • Experience in program measurement and analysis
  • Strong understanding of traditional and online media relations, social media and digital strategy
  • Attention to detail and accountable for deadlines and deliverables
  • Passion for client service and integrated team performance
  • Skills in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms (including but not limited to: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Hootsuite, TweetDeck)
