Technical Digital Producer

The Technical Digital Producer role will enable and lead our enterprise clients and their consumer and pharma brands across web, CRM, analytics, and data management solutions and initiatives. This role will consist of technical solution architecture, strategy, execution, technical project management, client management, and product-to-goal quality assurance.
Technical Solution Architecture, Strategy and Execution
Help bring creative ideas to life by designing and building applicable digital/tech solutions and products (websites, CRM, analytics, new platforms, applications, etc.) while ensuring that all of our solutions meet our client’s expectations and fit within their environment. By partnering with clientside IT organizations, enable our ability to extend their platform and technology roadmaps, accounting for innovative solutions and creative deployments. Ensure successful, creative, and integrated solutions that align with business objectives and customer expectations while also executing and building them in a way that fits within client’s infrastructure.
Technical Project and Team Management
Must have a keen awareness of all elements, inputs, deliverables, and specialties/resources required to build and execute on integrated, technical digital deployments (web, CRM, analytics, SEO, data management). Build, inspire, and drive a team of specialists to create experiences, driving toward key objectives, goals, and KPIs. Ensure proper project plan, setup, and integration between all specialty teams (agencies, specialists, brand, IT) enabling project team to succeed.
Proven ability to develop and deliver project plans to project teams and ensure clear articulation of roles, responsibilities, and deliverables over the lifecycle of the project. Partner with PM on each project to scope and staff based on specialty needs on the project. Provide oversight and have a deep understanding of all integrated elements of digital product strategy, execution, and all team deliverables. Ensure PM creates project brief, communications plan, prepares status reports, keeps alignment with all team members on all project deliverables, and conducts internal and external status meetings regularly as necessary to ensure effective issue resolution and quality project delivery.
Collaborate with multiple project teams, departments, or Inter-Agency Teams to oversee the design and development of a range of digital deployments and/or campaigns. Lead all specialties and deliverables, ensuring integration and involvement of each specialty at the right time, on the right deliverables.
Strong ability to partner with account manager on every account and project to ensure integration with business goals and broader account tactics.
Client Management and Product-to-Goal Quality Assurance
Ensure that the work being produced is within brand guidelines, clientside IT/systems/environments, and requirements. Ensure the proper clientside digital, brand, and IT partners are involved and aware of the product deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, integrating all partners as needed throughout the project.
Attend (and in some cases lead) client workshops and other project review sessions to develop business requirements for projects, share deliverables with clients, and beyond. Communicate requirements to the design and delivery team and ensure that solutions meet those requirements. Ensure all specialists and Agency teams are in lock step throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsible for quality assurance of all deliverables and final products. Must have a deep understanding of the client’s overall business objectives and strategies and how each project fits into to their overall business strategy. Ensure the product being developed is consistently mapping toward goals and KPIs which the Digital Producer has helped define.
Ensure data insights and measurement are always at top of mind and being reviewed throughout the entirety of product development. Ensure key measurement, SEO, and insights leads are engaged throughout the correct touch points in the project.
Must have experience working across integrated projects, notably in the digital and technology space. Must have the ability to demonstrate experience in delivering projects end-to-end, of all sizes (though experience working with big brands and design and development teams is most important).
Must be highly motivated, organized, passionate, able to manage multiple initiatives in parallel, and have a willingness to tackle demanding tasks and take responsibility for actions. Use initiative to make suggestions and have a strong desire to learn and to share knowledge with the broader team. Need to be flexible enough to adapt approach to different team members, helping to motivate others and inspire a positive attitude.
Must excel at managing strategy and delivery, with a keen ability to define team and project objectives including expectations and deadlines and monitor the progress of projects against targets. Must have strong oral and written communication skills that help build rapport with internal and external stakeholders on all projects. Must be a good listener, but also highly persuasive, using facts, clear arguments and personal conviction to influence and persuade others.
Must be a strategic thinker that can create clear action plans with realistic timelines, a self-motivated individual that manages own time effectively and meets deadlines. Must maintain a customer focus, balancing the demands of a variety of customers, and taking pride in the quality of the team’s output in addition to the completion of the task.
Must be data-driven with a strong appreciation and awareness of the role of data in the lifecycle of the technical deployment (along with experience developing KPIs and measurement reports).
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
- 4-6 years of experience as a product manager, digital/technical project manager, or digital/interactive producer
- Basic technical knowledge on front end web development (Html, css, js- bootstrap)
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and inputs in web development
- Strong analytical skills and a love for finding patterns and actionable conclusions in key metrics data
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to influence and collaborate with teams / individuals
- Proven experience in contributing to a successful project or product in the past
- Strong client management and presentation skills
- Strong multitasking and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail around processes, documentation and workflow
- Strong communication and coordination skills amongst cross-functional teams
- Ability to partner with, support, and collaborate with account and project management team on daily requests and questions
- Work with creatives across the agency to ensure the product guidelines and requirements are met
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Project Management and/or Product management experience in web-based applications
- Knowledge of IT and MarTech systems/platforms and mobile technology (notably Adobe Marketing Cloud + Analytics, React, Salesforce Marketing, and Google Marketing/Analytics)
- Previous client-side experience would be an advantage
- BA/BS degree
