9 Park overlooking the Boston Commons and the State House

What is something people may not know about you?

That I did not speak English until I was 10.

What’s your passion outside of the workplace?

My five grandchildren! They have taught me again not to take myself too seriously, the power of storytelling and the wisdom of owning up to bad news first.

What’s the coolest (or weirdest) place a project has taken you?

The Roosevelt Room in the White House, where I spent 90 minutes helping President Obama with his speech to the Cuban people when he visited Havana in 2016.
