Judith Harrison

Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer

Judith Harrison

It's important to me to stay curious, open, authentic and optimistic. A writer once asked me about my mantra and what I told her, though not as thoughtful, is just as true: ‘Dare to dream, dress to kill.’

Q&As

How long have you worked at Weber Shandwick?

I’ve worked at Weber Shandwick since 2006. It’s always been a great agency, but watching it evolve into the powerhouse it is today has been amazing.

In five words or less, how would you describe your Weber Shandwick colleagues

Smart, collaborative, supportive, high-energy, driven.

Best restaurant/favorite meal in New York?

The iron roast split chicken at Left Bank, my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Crisp, delicious and satisfying every time.

What's something surprising people might not know about you?

I used to sing. For an event honoring a beloved minister in the New York jazz community, I had the best backup band imaginable – guys who had played with Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, etc. It was an out-of-body experience.

What is your passion outside of work?

I love cooking and pampering my dog, Layla. Sometimes simultaneously. Both passions have taught or reinforced the importance of patience (a never-ending lesson) mastering the fundamentals, and the rewards of focus.

What's the coolest (or weirdest) place a project has taken you?

The weirdest place was a jury room. While waiting to be selected, I struck up a conversation with someone who worked at another PR agency and wound up recruiting her.
