Josh Gilbert

Executive Creative Director, Global Practices

A ship is safe at shore, but that’s not what it’s built for.

Question and Answer

How long have you worked at Weber Shandwick?

Since 2003. Yes, that bloody long.

In five words or less, how would you describe your Weber Shandwick colleagues?

Hall of Justice without the tights (mostly).

Best restaurant / your favorite meal in New York?

The best restaurant in NY is actually in the Rockies, where my younger brother and I eat together every chance we get.

What is something people may not know about you?

I am obsessed with curling — for 4 manic days every 4 years. And my expertise becomes unrivaled.

What’s your passion outside of the workplace? What are three things it has taught you that transfers to the office?

God is round. If you follow the beautiful game, you’ll understand.

What’s the coolest (or weirdest) place a project has taken you?

Easy. To a sketchy motel room meeting with fight promoter Don King the night before Mike Tyson was released from prison.
