When did you start working at Weber Shandwick?

I started in 1999, when it was just called Shandwick. Weber Shandwick and I have grown up a lot in the past 21 years!

What’s your favorite thing about Minneapolis?

Minneapolis summers are the best but to be a real Minnesotan, you have to smile even when you’re braving the elements in January.

If you weren’t working in this industry, what would you want to do?

I would want to be an ER Trauma doctor. Using all your learnings and senses to save a life would be exhilarating.

What’s the coolest (or weirdest) place a project has taken you?

Ho Chi Mihn City in Vietnam where I had the experience of crawling through the Cu Chi Tunnels

Who is someone that inspires you right now?

My daughter. She is in her third year of medical school and I am amazed at her determination and dedication to learning.

What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever gotten?

You may not always be the smartest person in the room but you can outwork others. Put in the hard work and it will spotlight your character.

What’s your favorite way to unwind in your free time?

Hanging with my family at a sporting event, restaurant or playing in the pool. Go Vikings!
