Weber Shandwick Wins 2015 Global Agency of the Year at Holmes Global SABRE Awards

This is the fourth time in six years that Weber Shandwick has earned this award. Honorees are selected by the publication’s editors based on information gathered during an extensive research process, which takes into account the performance of more than 400 firms worldwide.

The Global SABRE Awards ceremony was part of the fourth annual Holmes Global PR Summit, which brings together communications experts from around the world to address critical issues facing the industry. This year’s Summit focused on “Culture and Character: The Keys to Authentic Brand-Building.”

During the Summit, Weber Shandwick hosted a conversation on brand authenticity entitled “Is ‘Authenticity’ Inauthentic?” The panel was moderated by Weber Shandwick President Gail Heimann and featured Michael Gonda, vice president of corporate communications at Chobani, and Mary O’Connell, senior director of global digital marketing, social media and public relations at Clorox. The Holmes Report Global Agency of the Year award is one of several recent industry honors earned by Weber Shandwick in 2015, including being named Global Agency of the Year and U.S. Agency of the Year by PRWeek, and the No. 1 most creative PR firm in the world on The Holmes Report’s Global Creative Index. The firm was also named Asia Pacific Network of the Year by PRWeek, Communications Agency of the Year in Brazil by the Comunique-se Awards, and a UK Business Superbrand for the 9th year in a row. Weber Shandwick was the only PR firm named to the Advertising Age Agency A-List in both 2014 and 2015.
