Weber Shandwick Promotes Paul Andrew to Executive Vice President, Global Corporate and Issues Management Practice 

BOSTON, March 6, 2012 – Weber Shandwick, a leading global public relations firm, today announced the promotion of Paul Andrew to executive vice president. He is part of the company’s Global Corporate and Issues Management practice and reports to Micho Spring, chair of Weber Shandwick’s Global Corporate practice and president of Weber Shandwick’s New England region.

With more than a decade of experience in communications and consulting, Andrew has been instrumental in leading strategic growth initiatives for the firm’s Boston office. In addition to helping drive new business and significant organic growth, he has supported Spring in cementing Weber Shandwick’s Boston office as a market leader committed to innovative programs and superior client service.

In his role at Weber Shandwick, Andrew provides message, crisis and corporate communications counsel to a number of global organizations. In addition, he has deep expertise in academia and leads the firm’s higher education specialty area.

Andrew serves on the workforce development committee of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and is an alumni of the Chamber’s Future Leaders Program. A former special adviser in Tony Blair’s administration, he has advised businesses, political candidates, governments and non-profit advocacy organizations nationally and internationally during his career.
