The Holmes Report recognized Gail for “being the driver behind Weber Shandwick’s formidable digital and creative muscle that has resulted in groundbreaking work.”

Gail has a long record of leadership in accelerating innovation at Weber Shandwick and across the communications industry. Most recently, at the 2015 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Gail was a member of the inaugural Glass Lions Jury, which celebrates work that breaks through gender bias and stereotypes. She was also a judge at the 2015 U.S. Young Lions PR competition, supporting and inspiring the next generation of creatives, and she served as president of the Public Relations Jury at the 2012 Cannes Lions. Earlier in her career, Gail was recognized as an Advertising Age Woman Watch.

Gail’s commitment to breaking convention has helped lead Weber Shandwick and its clients to create exciting and powerful work. Weber Shandwick was the only PR agency on Advertising Age’s Agency A-List in 2014 and 2015, and was also honored as The Holmes Report’s Global Agency of the Year in 2014, and PRWeek’s Global Agency of the Year for 2015.

Innovation happens when catalysts — courageous thinkers, brave — and loud — voices, relentless challengers-of-the-norm get the leeway and authority to drive change. So our model, hiring, service offerings and culture need to shift to attract and accommodate ‘the force for innovation.
