Weber Shandwick Hires William Reihl as Executive Vice President, North America Global Consumer Marketing Practice 

NEW YORK, March 2, 2011 – Weber Shandwick, one of the world’s leading global public relations firms, today announced that William “Bill” Reihl has recently joined the firm as executive vice president in the Global Consumer Marketing Practice.

Reihl will be responsible for providing creative and strategic counsel across North America for the firm’s brand marketing assignments. He reports to Lisa Sepulveda, president, Global Consumer Marketing practice, and is based in the New York office.

 

With nearly two decades of experience in marketing communications, Reihl has worked on a variety of initiatives in the consumer industry. His experience spans various sectors including consumer electronics, luxury consumer goods and packaged goods. Prior to Weber Shandwick, Reihl was an executive vice president and New York Consumer Practice director at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. There, he focused on uncovering consumer insights that drive campaign strategy and creative. Throughout his career, Reihl has led large initiatives for clients including LG Electronics, Sony, Hugo Boss, Coca-Cola, Unilever and Proctor & Gamble and the Ford Motor Company.
