Weber Shandwick Hires Carol Ballock as Executive Vice President 

NEW YORK, March 24, 2011 – Weber Shandwick, one of the world’s leading global public relations firms, today announced that Carol Ballock has joined as executive vice president in the firm’s Corporate practice, effective immediately.

An expert in corporate and CEO reputation, Ballock will be responsible for generating thought leadership platforms for C-suite executives, as well as helping them raise their visibility and stature among key stakeholders. Ballock will oversee the firm’s leading-edge “Voiceboxx” and “Scoreboxx” offerings, which employ speaking engagements, as well as rankings and corporate scorecards, to raise executive visibility and build corporate brands. She will be based in the firm’s New York office and report to Paul Jensen, chairman of the North American Corporate practice.

Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Ballock was a managing director of the Corporate & Financial Communications practice at Burson-Marsteller. She is also a writer and editor, having contributed to the book “Wisdom of the CEO, 29 Global Leaders Tackle Today’s Most Pressing Business Challenges.”
