Weber Shandwick Appoints Team to Fuel Integrated Client Services Across North America 

New York – June 19, 2017 − Weber Shandwick, one of the world’s leading global communications and engagement firms, has elevated five senior leaders into new roles aimed at delivering more deeply integrated client services across the firm’s North America markets. Luca Penati, Rana Komar, Greg Power, Joy Farber-Kolo and Pam Jenkins will each take on additional remits to oversee cross-office units within the region. Under their leadership, offices across North America will benefit from added scale and depth, a wider range of expertise available to deliver integrated client assignments and accelerated collaboration with teams across the network.

The North America leadership appointments are as follows:

 

Luca Penati, previously general manager of Weber Shandwick’s San Francisco/Silicon Valley office, will become president, Weber Shandwick West with oversight of the firm’s presence in California and Seattle.

 

Rana Komar, previously general manager of Weber Shandwick’s Chicago office, takes on the role of president, Weber Shandwick Central. She will be tapped to drive integration across the firm’s Midwest offices, including Minneapolis, Chicago and St. Louis.

 

Greg Power, CEO of Weber Shandwick Canada, will take on the additional role of president, Weber Shandwick North. Power’s remit expands to include collaboration with the firm’s Detroit staff in addition to leading the firm’s Canadian footprint.

 

Joy Farber-Kolo, general manager of Weber Shandwick’s New York office, will become president, Weber Shandwick East and will be tapped to drive growth among the firm’s New York, Boston and Atlanta offices. Concurrently, Isabel Hardy, previously senior vice president of business development, will become general manager of Weber Shandwick’s Boston office and will lead strategic growth initiatives throughout New England. Micho Spring, president of Weber Shandwick’s global Corporate practice and former Chair, New England, will continue to oversee key client engagements in the Northeast, in addition to her global role.

 

Finally, Pam Jenkins, who recently was appointed president of Weber Shandwick’s global Public Affairs practice, will work to lead integration with the firm’s teams located in the south, including its Dallas, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore offices. Jenkins adds president, Weber Shandwick South, to her title.
