New York – January 8, 2018 – Weber Shandwick, one of the world’s leading global communications and engagement firms, today announced the appointment of Jennifer Cho as executive vice president and general manager, Dallas and Lorenz Esguerra as executive vice president and general manager, Minneapolis. The two senior executives, with strong backgrounds in data-driven marketing and creative, will support Weber Shandwick’s commitment to delivering more deeply integrated client services and solutions.

With over a decade of experience in business development and integrated marking, Cho has deep expertise in using analytics to drive sales across sectors and markets. She most recently led business development at FISH, an experiential marketing technology firm in Dallas, bridging the gap between marketing and sales by using data and analytics to target, optimize, and measure marketing programs and campaigns. Previously, Cho served in leadership roles for several organizations, including co-founding a 50-person music production company, spearheading marketing for a medical services training firm, and managing the largest client account and new business opportunities at a leading experiential marketing agency.

Jennifer brings a vibrant, diverse set of skills, and has an invaluable perspective from outside of public relations, Combined with her strength in converting business results, ability to foster meaningful client engagements, and a deep-seated understanding of digital, content and analytics, Jennifer will continue to propel Weber Shandwick’s work in the Southwest region.

With more than 20 years of experience in marketing services, including leadership roles at BBDO, Proximity and Blast Radius, Esguerra has led integrated teams in the planning, development and tracking of key digital campaigns – ranging from e-commerce to social media – for clients across sectors.

 

Most recently, Esguerra served as managing director at Colle McVoy in Minneapolis, where he led and managed the marketing and new business opportunities across the firm’s portfolio of agencies, including Colle McVoy, Exponent PR and 10 Thousand Design, and was responsible for client oversight for several of the agency’s key accounts. Esguerra has nearly 10 years of brand management and business strategy experience, including roles at Mattel and Procter & Gamble. Prior to that, he served as a consultant at Bain & Co.

Lorenz brings a wealth of client experience knowledge, a sharp focus on digital and integrated marketing, and a deep passion for storytelling to our firm. His experience in building, growing and integrating teams will be a tremendous asset to Weber Shandwick. We couldn’t be more pleased to have him leading the charge in Minneapolis.
