Craig Casselberry to Join Weber Shandwick as Senior Vice President in Austin 

AUSTIN, February 10, 2011 – Weber Shandwick, a leading global public relations firm, today announced Quorum Public Affairs founder and president Craig Casselberry is joining the firm’s Corporate Practice as senior vice president in Austin, effective immediately.

Casselberry will report to senior vice president Neil Nowlin and will be focused on growing the firm’s public affairs business and providing counsel to clients in Texas and throughout the Southwest. The firm will utilize his understanding of the political landscape and proven ability to identify and mobilize advocates to deliver results for its clients.

 

Casselberry is a 20-year veteran of Texas politics and has served three Texas governors, including Governor Rick Perry. For the past 17 years, he has managed public policy campaigns for dozens of corporate clients at the local, state and federal levels.

 

Casselberry founded Quorum Public Affairs in 1994. During his tenure, Casselberry and his firm worked with some of the world’s most recognized companies including Ford, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Pfizer, State Farm, Allstate, USAA, Nationwide and Wal-Mart, among others. His firm has also worked extensively with smaller, growth-oriented companies as well as trade associations.
