Early Lessons of COVID-19: A Conversation with Ambassador Mark Green

04.23.2020

Ambassador Mark Green, former administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and current executive director of the McCain Institute, speaks with Michelle Giuda, executive vice president of Geopolitical Strategy & Risk at Weber Shandwick, about the early lessons of the COVID-19 global pandemic, how to develop a culture of readiness and what businesses need to know about the path to recovery.

A recognized leader in foreign policy, development, and both the public and private sector, Green also previously served as the U.S. Ambassador to Tanzania from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, he served as a four-term member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing Wisconsin’s 8th District.
