Joy Farber-Kolo

President, Weber Shandwick East

Joy Farber Kolo is the General Manager for Weber Shandwick’s New York office. She is responsible for overseeing operations and several of the firms’ major client relationships.

A passionate marketer and 18 year Weber Shandwick veteran, Joy brings an insights-driven approach to brand building. She believes that nothing less than true brand immersion can unlock unique consumer-driven insights. This has allowed her to create needle-moving campaigns for some of the world’s best-loved brands including Diet Pepsi, Dunkin’ Donuts, Ragu, Pond’s and Frigidaire to name a few.

Joy also has experience supporting the work of non-profit organizations – on their own and as their work intersects with business – including the American Library Association, The Ronald McDonald House of New York, Step Up Women’s Network and more.

Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Joy worked on product rollouts and special events at Tina Breslow Public Relations, a Philadelphia-based firm representing hospitality, retail, real estate and business clients up and down the East Coast.

She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Temple University in Philadelphia. Joy, her husband, two young children and an alarmingly large dog live in New Jersey.
