Christina is highly experienced in journalism, PR, advocacy and crisis counsel, with extensive international work experience following attachments in London, Japan, and Hong Kong.
Christina was the lead crisis counsel for 13 countries in Asia Pacific for a global recall for Bausch and Lomb. She was also crisis counsel for Sumitomo Corporation over its controversial judicial bankruptcy litigation in Indonesia that drew Indonesian presidential intervention. Christina has led several crisis and media training; and crisis simulation drills for C-suite CEOs and Boards, and blue-chip global clients across Asia.
During her 10 years with The Straits Times, Singapore’s leading national English daily, Christina won editorial awards for her reports as London Correspondent, as well as journalism scholarships in Japan for ASEAN journalists, and at The Thomson Press Foundation in Cardiff, Wales, UK.
Having relocated to Hong Kong where she spent 13 years in journalism and in PR, in both in-agency and in-house roles, Christina’s PR clients included HK Land, The First National Bank of Chicago, and Chubb HK. She led the marketing, advertising and PR promotions for more than 23 luxury global brands such as Chanel, Shu Uemura, Van Cleef & Arpels, IWC, Bally, Etienne Aigne, Porche Design.
Christina served on various professional, philanthropy and charity groups including the Singapore Institute of Directors; Institute of Public Relations Singapore; Singapore Press Club, PR WorkGroup of Singapore Workforce Development Agency, National Volunteer & Philanthropy of Centre Singapore; and Board of Ronald McDonald House Charities as Secretary.
