Weber Shandwick Named PR Agency Of The Year In Hong Kong
HONG KONG, 22 June, 2011 – Weber Shandwick in Hong Kong was named public relations agency of the year at this year’s annual Agency of the Year Awards, organized by key regional industry publication Marketing Magazine.
The awards were based on a two-step voting and judging process involving more than 1,500 client-side marketers and communicators. Judging criteria included: business performance, particularly client stability; campaign and project performance; staff retention and talent management; and leadership and vision.
“We have sustained our success by focusing on developing a true consulting and collegial culture. This is the foundation of our high client and staff retention, and in turn our great business performance,” said Albert Shu, Managing Director of Weber Shandwick Hong Kong. “Being named PR Agency of the Year is a great honor and opportunity, and we will build on this success by investing further in talent management and key growth areas such as financial services, travel & leisure, medical education, and digital media.”
The year has already brought great success to the Weber Shandwick Hong Kong office, marked by major new business wins, the addition of new senior-level appointments and extensive creative client campaigns, driving double-digit growth for the firm.
