Weber Shandwick Named PR Agency of the Year at 2015 PRWeek Awards
Weber Shandwick has been named 2015 PR Agency of the Year by PRWeek. The firm was also named Large PR Agency of the Year during the 2015 PRWeek Awards ceremony. In awarding the firm these honors, PRWeek highlighted Weber Shandwick’s client work, creativity and “integrated” approach.
The PRWeek Awards honor the best work, professionals, companies and agencies in the communications industry across 35 competitive categories every year. PRWeek recognized Weber Shandwick for “its ability to break barriers and its willingness to embrace change” as evidenced by the firm’s status as advertising, digital and social agency of record for several clients. Judges also said that “more than any other firm, Weber (Shandwick) walks the walk, in integrated, influential and impactful communications.”
“We appreciate the opportunity our client partners give us to deliver brave ideas and solutions to some of their most complex challenges,” said Andy Polansky, Chief Executive Officer of Weber Shandwick. “This recognition speaks to the quality of Weber Shandwick teams across practice areas and geographies, and the collaborative culture that is a hallmark of our firm.”
The PRWeek Agency of the Year award is one of several industry honors recently earned by Weber Shandwick, including being the only PR firm named to the 2015 Advertising Age Agency A-List for the second year in a row and winning Gold, Silver and Bronze PR Lions at the 2014 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity. Weber Shandwick was also honored as The Holmes Report’s Global Agency of the Year in 2014, named to the PR News CSR A-List for the fourth year in a row and was recognized as a 2014 Best Place to Work by PRWeek and Advertising Age.
