Citrix Selects Weber Shandwick as Public Relations Agency of Record for its Online Services Division

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 28, 2012 – Citrix Systems, Inc. has selected Weber Shandwick as its public relations agency of record in the U.S. for its online services division, following a competitive review. The firm begins work this month providing strategic public relations counsel, social media management and expertise for the company’s marketing initiatives.

Weber Shandwick will work with Citrix to promote its GoTo cloud-based services, which are powering new work styles as a result of the ongoing consumerization of technology and widespread adoption of mobile devices. Citrix is a leading advocate behind the flexible work movement, coining the term “workshifting,” enabling businesses and individuals to connect, meet, learn and collaborate; access data and files; and even deliver remote IT support or monitor IT infrastructure, from any location, at any time, from any device.
