Tyler has more than 15 years of experience in the business of strategic communications. He was previously managing director of Edelman Korea, where he was responsible for managing over 50 people and growing the business. Under Tyler’s leadership, the firm was chosen as the Agency of the Year by the Korea Public Relations Association.
Prior to joining Edelman, Tyler was co-managing director of News Communications, a Seoul-based PR agency that he co-founded in 1997. He played a pivotal role in building and growing the company as one of the most respected and successful local public relations consultancies in Korea. Tyler also previously served with Merit/Burson-Marsteller in Korea as director of its technology practice.
Tyler is active in Korea’s business community, currently holding the co-chair of the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea’s media and entertainment committee as well as the vice-chairman position of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Korea.
