Rachael joined Weber Shandwick in early 2007 and brings over 15 years of Public Relations experience to our network and has worked in London and New York driving Global, Pan European and national programmes on behalf of Unilever, Colgate Palmolive, Bausch & Lomb, Galderma Laboratories, Eli Lilly, Pharmacia, and Pfizer.
Rachael is responsible for helping lead and expand our pan European business by leveraging the resources of the Weber Shandwick European healthcare network to deliver the best possible outcomes for the clients we represent.
Rachael began her PR career working with Burson Marstellar London in the consumer healthcare division. She then moved to Biss Lancaster Euro RSCG where she focussed on building the agency’s healthcare portfolio specifically concentrating on women’s health. Rachael then transferred to New York where she led Euro RSCG Life PR for approximately 7 years.
Her experience includes the following areas; dermatology, endocrinology, geriatrics, ophthalmology, reproductive health, urology and veterinary care. Rachael is an experienced PR practitioner who has helped create and deliver a number of award winning campaigns. She is also experienced working in close collaboration with other marketing disciplines in a truly integrated 360 degree approach.
Rachael graduated from Victoria University Wellington New Zealand where she gained a Bachelor of Arts in history.
Rachael is a member of the Healthcare Communications Association in London. Prior to her move back to the UK she served as a member of the executive board for Meals on Wheels Association of America helping raise awareness of the impact of hunger on the aging population in America, the richest nation on earth.
