Jill has more than 20 years of public relations and marketing communications experience. As Weber Shandwick’s chief business development officer, she develops new and existing partnerships by delivering the best teams and resources to address client business challenges and communications needs.
Jill drives national and global business development opportunities for Weber Shandwick, working closely with the firm’s executive management team and senior practice leaders to identify and engage the right subject-, discipline- and geography-specific experience for each prospective client. She sets high standards for all business development pursuits, leveraging research-driven insights, creativity and a multidisciplinary approach, to develop customized client solutions.
For the past 10 years, Jill has focused on integrated marketing communications initiatives, working in partnership with sister agencies within the Interpublic Group of Companies. She has played an integral role in integrated client engagements including CA, DuPont, MasterCard Worldwide, ExxonMobil, Nortel, the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour and the U.S. Army, among others.
Previously, as executive vice president, account services, Jill was responsible for building and mobilizing qualified client service teams. She also developed and introduced new approaches and products to agency colleagues to enhance their ability to deliver seamless and consistent service across agency offices globally. Early on in her career, Jill coordinated global business opportunities, supporting overseas clients accessing agency services in the U.S. and vice versa.
As an account supervisor with Rand Public Relations, Jill specialized in consumer and healthcare marketing and drove national campaigns for Kraft General Foods (now Kraft), Oscar Mayer, Tambrands, Smartfood, The Culinary Institute of America and Lexis Pharmaceuticals.
Jill is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, New York Chapter and International Committee, and the International Association of Business Communicators. Jill received a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Ohio Wesleyan University.
