Furio Garbagnati is the CEO of Weber Shandwick in Italy. He was the founder of Italy’s leading PR agency SCR Associati in 1976 before it became part of Weber Shandwick, and has more than 30 years’ experience of corporate, financial and crisis communications.
Furio has counselled many organisations in the financial services, government, utilities, and telecoms sectors, including JP Morgan and Schroders, and was head of press and communications at the Milan Stock Exchange. He is also chairman of the Italian PR Firms Association Assorel and is on the board of international associations, IPRA and Global Alliance.
