Ervin Szûcs is managing director of Weber Shandwick's Central and Eastern European region, and also serves as head of the Hungarian operations. He is a a specialist in corporate and public affairs and teaches communications and lobbying at Hungarian universities.
Before joining Weber Shandwick he worked for satellite communication company Iridium in Düsseldorf in the capacity of Country Manager for Hungary and the CEE region. He was responsible for introducing products and services in eight regional markets, a responsibility included overseeing regulatory affairs and public relations.
Earlier Ervin worked for Burson-Marsteller Hungary as manager for corporate and public affairs. He consulted multinational clients on communications strategy development.
He started his career in the foreign service and served four years at the Hungarian Embassy in Washington D.C. as Press Attaché and Special Assistant to the Ambassador.
