Allyson Hugley recently joined Weber Shandwick as the EVP of Measurement, Analytics and Insights. In this role, Hugley will spearhead the growth of the practice by enhancing current offerings, establishing best-in-class proprietary capabilities and working closely with Weber Shandwick leadership to realize an expanded vision of the practice. Hugley will also be responsible for driving measurement and analytics thought-leadership and providing analytics and insights counsel to the agency’s top global accounts.
Allyson Hugley is a seasoned market and communications research professional with over 14 years of experience. Most recently she was the Senior Vice President of Insight Creation at MSLGROUP, where she provided global market intelligence and strategic consumer insights to the agency’s leading accounts. She also developed and managed the agency’s measurement capabilities.
Prior to joining MSLGROUP, Hugley was a research manager at Scholastic, the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books. At Scholastic, she was responsible for directing new product development, message testing and corporate communications research.
Hugley spent eight years with RoperASW (now GfK), where she was a senior research director/account executive in the Roper Public Affairs division. She managed corporate communications, message effectiveness and audience measurement research for key accounts such as the Partnership for a Drug Free America, the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), Philip Morris Youth Smoking Prevention, SADD, AARP, SIRIUS Satellite Radio and GE Medical Systems. She also directed the firm’s syndicated youth research product, The Roper Youth Report™. In addition to her youth research work, Hugley also provided ethnic market (African American and Hispanic) insights to key Roper accounts such as MTV, Kodak and AARP.
Allyson Hugley received her master’s in business administration with a concentration in international marketing from CUNY Baruch Zicklin School of Business. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology and Hispanic studies from Connecticut College.
