Third Annual VOICEBOXX™ Executive Roundtable

Top communications and marketing professionals from multiple industries gathered Tuesday, October 5, at the Samsung Experience in New York for the agency’s Third Annual VOICEBOXX™ Executive Roundtable. This year’s theme was “Breaking through the Sound Barrier: How to Get Heard in a Death-by-Information Overloaded World.” Fast Company Editor Jeff Chu moderated the panel, consisting of Weber Shandwick’s Chairman Jack Leslie; Bruce Jasurda, U.S. Army; Peter Land, PepsiCo; David Steel, Samsung; Steve Jost, U.S. Census Bureau; and Stephanie Anderson, Osram Sylvania.

Addressing how the role of communications continues to unfold in the post-recessionary world, the panelists discussed how they have reinvented their marketing strategies to get their messages heard in an “always on, never off” world. Discussion highlights included the role social media has played in corporate branding campaigns, how marketing and communications have evolved over the last several years, and how to avoid interrupting and truly engage/join consumers in conversation.

Weber Shandwick's Annual VOICEBOXX™ Executive Roundtable series promotes thought leadership and spurs discussion among industry leaders on communications and marketing issues impacting businesses.
