The Manila office provides brand-building as well as consumer PR services in the areas of healthcare, technology, automotive, real estate and financial investment. The team also specializes in public affairs, government relations and crisis management. The office is further pioneering the practice of litigation PR, which translates a client’s winning in the courts of law to victory in the courts of public opinion.
In addition, the Manila team is engaged in pro bono work. In October 2006, Weber Shandwick in Manila assisted Children’s Hour, an organization dedicated to the welfare and development of marginalized Filipino children. The team also is involved in building homes and stepping stone centers for the handicapped through its membership with the Rotary Clubs of Manila and Makati City’s Gawad Kalinga projects.
