Who We Are
Communicators. Problem solvers. Team players. Creative. Strategic. Perceptive. Proactive. Motivators. Social networkers. Adventurous. Passionate. Intellectually curious. Leaders. Fierce competitors. Advocates.
Our employees wear many hats and possess many talents, and together, these diverse individuals form Weber Shandwick. Our reputation is built upon our deep commitment to client service, creativity and collaboration. For us,
Advocacy starts here – we strive to help every client develop a legion of believers, supporters and followers they need today to drive growth.
Our employees thrive on doing exceptional
work for our clients, among them high-profile, global organizations, innovators, and regional and industry leaders. Our expertise spans a wide range of
industries, issues and specialty areas.
Digital communications and social media are embedded in everything we do, and we believe these evolving areas present new opportunities to engage stakeholders. Through our “Inline” communications approach, we reach stakeholders through a tailored combination of channels that carry the most influence, whether they are online or offline.
We also work closely with clients on
corporate social responsibility, sustainability, strategic philanthropy, cause marketing and nonprofit branding, positioning and advocacy efforts. Weber Shandwick’s culture is environmentally focused and we are committed to being green. In 2008, our U.S. offices were awarded the prestigious “green certification” (ISO 14001) following a review of our environmental management processes.
Our work environment combines the best of a boutique firm – creativity, agility and entrepreneurial spirit – with the advantages of the largest, most sophisticated
global network of any agency in the world: offices in 77 countries around the world, employees with specialized skills and knowledge, and the resources needed to get the job done.
Our employees say their favorite thing about working at Weber Shandwick is the people: diverse, highly motivated, smart, creative, talented and energetic. We view
diversity as a necessity, a priority and a competitive advantage, and strive to employ a workforce comprising people of varied backgrounds, beliefs, experiences and perspectives. Our
leadership team is recognized as one of the strongest and deepest in the industry, from C-suite executives to practice and office leadership. Throughout the agency, these leaders promote an intense client focus and a true spirit of collaboration.
The results of our creativity, hard work and commitment to our clients have been recognized time and again, within the public relations industry and beyond. Weber Shandwick has won more
PRWeek awards than any other agency in the last 10 years, was named an ‘Agency of the Decade’ by
Advertising Age,
The Holmes Report Global Agency of the Year and is regularly ranked in “Best Places to Work” lists.
What We Offer
At Weber Shandwick, learning is at the core of what we do. The power we bring to clients is our experience; experience comes from knowledge, and knowledge comes from continuous learning. Our
Learning Navigator program offers more than 100 courses across nine tracks in a variety of formats. We share information globally through The Hub, our award-winning, company-wide intranet.
We also believe that workplace leadership requires comprehensive and competitive
benefits programs in every office around the world, which are supplemented by work/life balance programs designed by our individual offices. Whether playing on intramural sports teams or participating in office-sponsored photography competitions, we make sure we have fun while working hard.
We support the communities in which we operate through pro-bono
community outreach programs around the world. These efforts are an important part of our company culture and bring to life our commitment to serve as advocates for causes in which we believe. We recognize the significant contributions of our colleagues’ pro-bono efforts, which are as varied and diverse as our offices, through our annual Making a Difference internal awards program. Our pro-bono work ranges from working with War Child, an organization that helps children affected by war in Africa and the Middle East, to hosting local non-profit organizations for one-day interactive public relations workshops in Cambridge, Mass.
To gain further experience in the global scope of our business and cross-office collaboration and integration, we provide employees with the opportunity to apply for participation in our
Global Exchange Program. Employees selected for the program have the unique opportunity to work in a different global office for six months.
In addition to our full-time positions, we offer an
internship program that offers college students and recent college graduates the opportunity to learn about agency life and strategic communications careers.
Working at Weber Shandwick is a rush of positive energy, constant learning and deep pride in accomplishing great things as part of a team. We work hard, play hard, and conquer new challenges daily.
